I am
currently reading this spooky read...even though spooky month just finished.
Neil Gaiman is known for being a very illustrative story teller and so far I
agree.
After the grisly murder of his entire family, a
toddler wanders into a graveyard where the ghosts and other supernatural
residents agree to raise him as one of their own.
Nobody Owens, known to his friends as Bod, is a
normal boy. He would be completely normal if he didn't live in a sprawling
graveyard, being raised and educated by ghosts, with a solitary guardian who
belongs to neither the world of the living nor of the dead. There are dangers
and adventures in the graveyard for a boy. But if Bod leaves the graveyard,
then he will come under attack from the man Jack—who has already killed Bod's
family...

Super Secret by Eon
This
comic has the cutest art style and the most adorable story plot. I squeal
whenever it updates because all these characters are just too precious.

The Dreadful Tales of Prosper Redding by Alexandra Bracken
This book is a book everyone should read, even though it is considered a middle grade. We follow the story of Prosper who lives with a family full of lucky folk, except he isn't lucky...at all. He actually has a demon residing in him who is slowly taking control of his body.
Prosper, along side with his cousin have to figure out how to expel the demon before it's too late...but there is more to this demon that meets the eye.

Turns out Prosper's great-great-great-great-great-something grandfather made-and then broke-a contract with a malefactor, a demon who exchanges fortune for eternal servitude. The fiend has reawakened with one purpose--to destroy the family whose success he ensured and who then betrayed him. Warcross by Marie Lu
I finished this book last week and holy stars it was so amazing. I honestly this feel like Warcross is the best book I have read this year. It is not a new concept, Warcross is a mix of Ready Player One and Sword Art Online, but it felt fresh.
Ms. Lu really makes you feel for the characters, especially Hideo Tanaka and Emika Chen. I actually understood their actions even when I did not agree with them. Aaaaah. I have too many thoughts and feels about this. Especially the last 70 or so pages. So intense. There was one thing I was suspicious about and then turned out to be correct...but I still have so many questions. READ IT.

Hooky by Miriam Bonastre Tur
I'm currently following this really cute webcomic on webtoons about two witchling twins. The art style is beyond adorable and the main characters, Dani and Dorian, are precious children. This story deals with self-worth, family, love, and figuring out that the world isn't black and white but various shades of gray.
Dani and Dorian have missed the bus of the school of magic. Now, they must find someone who teach them how to be a great and good witches... Or maybe not.
